REAL FRUIT
BUBBLE TEA

Wall mural design

Client: Real Fruit Bubble Tea

Year: 2023

Real Fruit Bubble Tea is a well-known and emerging bubble tea chain in North America across Canada and US. It specializes in handcrafted drinks and fresh teas that are brewed from loose leaf and espresso tea machines. It targets at customers who are open to multiculturalism and are interested in the mutual exchange of ideas and cultural norms, and the development of deep relationships.

It is my pleasure to be able to collaborate with such big brand in the industry and help promoting their brand image through the wall graphic of numerous of their locations. Most of the themes are tea and multi-culture related, and is done by both hand-drawn sketches and digital generated images.

Staten Island Mall
Location | New York

This art piece was first initiated with the theme as " The Real Me", where I originally proposed and sketched a confident lady at the front with her glasses half off, looking at the surreal tea / mango field behind her. 2 huge mirrors were meant to be installed at where the glasses at for customers to take a selfie while holding a RFBT drink. The whole interaction between the customers and the mural as a the meaning of the theme, "The Real Me".

Though, the idea was not considered where at the end we decided to adjust the design with a theme of "Mango | Tea | Pearl Wonderland" which aims to bring the joy to the customers.

Tanger Outlet Deer Park
Location | New York

This wall graphic was aimed to match with the New York street culture to welcome the locals. It is inspired by the american comic cartoon style. The graphic depicts a lot of New York related elements and western style, hoping it gives a new look to the brand where it does not only show chinese tea cultural elements but multi-cultural friendly vibe in their brand,

Jersey Shore Premium Outlets
Location | New Jersey

This piece is revised base on another graphic done by a previous colleague in the team, shown in the first picture. The aim of this piece is to expand the whole picture to have more tea-drinking and making cultural elements in it.

Place d'Orléans
Location | Ottawa

This piece is inspired by the Chinese watercolour painting style to depict the mountain range and the tea terrace. The strokes represents the layer of the terraces and the ligher coloured hills imitate those hills layered by fog where you only see parts of it. The whole idea is to make the customers to experience the Chinese poetic scene while drinking the tea from RFBT.
